Wednesday, March 4th, 2009March 2 (I’m 2 days late in my posting) would have been the 40th anniversary of the first flight of the Concorde. It’s a shame such an icon is now only visible in pictures and museums.
Did you know there were 20 originally built? Or that cruising altitude was 60k feet, as long as it wasn’t too sunny. Check out this great article.
