Make frost a welcome event (for your bottom line.)

How do you handle frost on your customers' planes now? It's probably some combination of hangars and deicing fluid, neither of which are ideal options. Hangar space is limited, and if you decide to shuffle planes in and out all night, what a pain. Plus, deicing fluid makes a complete mess of a plane. What if you could get your customers in the air in a clean airplane, even when frost is all over the airport? If overnight frost accumulation were a profit center for your business, would you welcome the bad weather?

Introducing JetSocks Delay Prevention System (JetSocks DPS), a brand new way for your customers to keep their flying surfaces free from frost.

What is it?

JetSocks DPS is a system that includes wing and tail covers, training for your ground crews, plus after-the-sale service. Our covers protect the aircraft from the overnight accumulation of frost, meaning a clean and ready airplane for your customer.

JetSocks: Your Newest Profit Center

Your customer wants to take off when they want to take off. If the weather looks like there will be frost, offer to install a set for the night and charge a fee. Even if you currently offer hangar space, how many times have you run out of space or spent the entire night shuffling planes in and out of the hangar to keep them from frosting over?

Jetsocks DPS allows you to provide overnight anti-icing services for a fraction of the cost of building more hangar space. Perhaps you install the covers for free, and this can be one more reason why a pilot chooses your FBO instead of your competition. Either way, it's a good choice for your bottom line.

How does it work?

It's simple. Install the custom-fitted covers after the last flight of the day. Overnight frost will form on the cover, not the wing. Remove the cover, remove the frost. It’s that easy.

Part 1: Wing Covers

Our wing covers are applied to your aircraft after the last flight of the day by your existing ground crew. Each cover is custom fitted to each aircraft, meaning it works around static wicks and will not damage the wing in any way. The covers are made from a durable material from Dupot®, a true miracle product. It is resilient and resistant to all moisture, mold, and sunlight. This ensures problem free operation and a long life. Each set can be applied by a two-man ground crew in less than 20 minutes, including covers for the tail, and taken off even faster.

Part 2: Training

The second aspect of the JetSocks system is training manuals and videos for your existing personnel. The real beauty is that our covers are self explanatory and do not require much training. It's simple.

Part 3: Post-Sale Support

Each cover is sold on a leased basis. If during use the covers need repair, just let us know and we’ll send a replacement set immediately. Send the old one back at your convenience. We’ll do everything we can to keep your fleet frost free.

A Word from the FAA

In a recent release, the FAA stated that there are 4 ways to handle frost on an aircraft: hangaring, using costly deicing fluid, waiting for the frost to melt, or using wing covers. Waiting for the contamination to melt and using deicing fluid cost you time and money, and hangar space may not be always be available. Wing covers are the option to provide protection from frost in any situation.
